IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a form of assisted reproductive technology (ART) by which special medical techniques are employed to help a woman become pregnant. It is most often tried when other, less expensive fertility techniques have failed. IVF can be used to take ova from the wife and semen from the husband. After successfully starting the pregnancy in the laboratory, the embryo is returned to the uterus. If the husband has a weak or low sperm count ICSI (Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection) can be used to inject one sperm into the wife͛s egg.
Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital͛s Operating Theatre undertakes both Major and Minor surgeries arising out of Gynecological problems. Our hospital͛s in-patient facilities deliver round-the-clock care to both mother and baby while our in-house Laboratory facilitates prompt and convenient clinical test results.
